We’ve written before about the bike tours given by Matt Levy, a guide with Levy’s Unique New York, his very cool family city tour guide business. (They also do sandwiches and graffiti and immigrant eats, among other less important things, like city landmarks.) Levy’s got vast knowledge about local beers, local architecture and local history, and he puts those all to use on August 27th, when he’ll hosting one of his regular bike jaunts through Bushwick, East Williamsburg and Williamsburg. It’s a four-hour tour of a few of the remaining German brewery buildings left from the dozens that dotted the area, and it ends with a toast in a cemetery on the Brooklyn/Queens border where several brewers are buried. We’ve been, and it’s highly recommended. If you need further proof, check out the NY1 segment about Levy and the trip today and Sunday morning, or watch it right here. And be sure to book your (bike) seat on the Bike Brooklyn Beer Blitz in two weeks!
