Juneteenth at Fat Ronnie’s Burger Bar

In honor of Juneteenth, Fat Ronnie’s Burger Bar in the West Village is offering a limited-time turkey burger topped with pepper jack, BBQ sauce, and coleslaw. Originally opened in the historically Black neighborhood of Oak Bluffs on Martha’s Vineyard, Fat Ronnie’s is the brainchild of Reynaldo “Ronnie” Faust, whose family legacy traces back to his grandmother Maxine Faust, the country’s first Black female union butcher.
