October 19: Try Jellyfish and Long Bean Salad, “Noritaco” and the Sydney Dog at Edible Escape

Uncorked is Edible’s annual local wine tasting, held on two whole floors of BAM in Brooklyn.

From Eat Drink Local Week to Good Beer, Edible is known for throwing some of the most delicious food and drink-focused events in the city. Here’s one coming up soon you won’t want to miss:

Edible Escape on Wednesday, October 19th at the Angel Orensanz Center.  Let your taste buds travel around the world without leaving the Lower East Side.  ASIADOG is bringing the savory with The Sidney, a 100% all beef hot dog topped with Thai mango relish and crushed peanuts, while Edi & the Wolf will take care of your sweet tooth with sacher torte reinterpreted with chocolate mousse and apricot gelée.  Head East and try some jellyfish and long bean salad with chili sesame sauce from Macao Trading Co. and “noritaco” with Philippine heirloom rice, Heritage pork adobo and salad of bitter melon, guava and radish from Purple Yam.
