The options for craft beer these days are immense. Loving beer is a hobby, just like wine—and one that needs to be tended to wisely. To educate yourself, mingle with fellow beer lovers and nosh on bites from some of the city’s finest restaurants, you should get a ticket for Good Beer, happening July 28 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the Financial District, hosted by Maiden Lane Hospitality.
There’s a reason it’s happening this month: July 2016 is the Eighth Annual Good Beer Month. The initiative was started by Good Beer Seal, a New York City organization founded in 2009 by prominent folks in hospitality (Jimmy Carbone of Jimmy’s No. 43, Dave Brodrick of Blind Tiger, and others) that identifies independently owned and operated bars serving quality craft beer who support the wider community. Good Beer Month celebrates these bars with events happening around the city.
Our Good Beer event will be the culmination, bringing together an incredible range of brewers, distillers, cider-makers, restaurants and more—Auchentoshan Whisky, Doc’s Draft Hard Cider, Great South Bay Brewery and The Norm at Brooklyn Museum included, to name just a few.
Whether you love beer, food, drinks or just a good time, be sure to get your tickets for the city’s premier beer event.
