It was one for the cocktail pairing record books at this year’s Good Spirits! A sold-out crowd of 500 flocked to 82 Mercer to eat, drink and mingle. With food and drink from more than 50 of the city’s most celebrated food and drink makers, guests had plenty to sample.
The music, reminiscent of what might have been playing in a Prohibition-era speakeasy, transported us all to the past, while excited tweets and cell phone snaps of favorite drinks and dishes reminded us that it was still 2012, and we were therefore able to drink freely and happily.
