If you missed Friday night’s auction or Sunday’s dinner at Palo Santo in Park Slope, you still have one more opportunity to help support two of the city’s best farmers: Hector Tejada of Conuco Farms and Kira Kinney of Evolutionary Organics. Their barn and winter storage was destroyed and now the pair have to replace not just much of what they need to farm next year but many of the hearty winter crops they could sell at Greenmarkets in Manhattan and Brooklyn throughout the winter. Tomorrow night’s dinner at iCi in Fort Greene (read their profile in Edible Brooklyn here) is the last of three fundraisers held in their honor.
