This is the time of year to give back, right? And to thank those that have made a difference in our lives? (And also for men in red suits, like, um, the Greatest American Hero, above.) So over the next two weeks be sure to vote for your Local Heroes, Edible Communities’ annual contest to laud the bakers, chefs, farmers, fishermen and other food world powerhouses that help to make New York City a better place to shop, cook and eat. Just as we did last year, we thought we’d offer up the theme song to one of the great shows of our past as inspiration while you fill out the forms.
