We’ve just talked to the good folks at the Lower East Side Tenement Museum, and in light of the (seemingly neverending) harsh winter storm bearing down upon us, our event tonight has been post-poned until March 29th. All tickets will be honored, and we hope to see you then for beer, pickles, sausage, herring, pretzels and oysters and a lecture on the history of Free Lunch, as well as guided tours of the museum. In the meantime, you can read more about the concept in this interview with culinary historian Jane Ziegelman we ran last week.
