We’re halfway through July, which means it’s time to pick up the latest summer issue and buy your tickets to Good Beer: one of Edible’s most popular annual small plate tasting events taking place on Thursday, July 30.
This year’s full of firsts, including a new indoor and outdoor Hudson Mercantile location in Midtown. Good Beer’s lineup grows each summer and this time around we’re featuring five new breweries to accompany five new food vendors including Boulevard Brewing Company, Great South Bay Brewery, McGargles Irish Craft Brewery, Montauk Brewing Company, Narragansett Beer, Alice’s Arbor, Baron’s, Bill Baker’s, Ellary’s Greens and GENUINE Superette. What’s more, this year’s attendees will be able to purchase bottles or cans of their favorite beers to take home.
Some things will remain the same, though, and like last year, we’re partnering with TasteNY: a program run by New York Ag and Markets designed to promote food and beverage companies across the state. Event sponsors also include Verterra Dinnerware, Whole Foods Market, Brooklyn Brewery, Blue Point Brewing Company, Stella Artois and the Good Beer Seal.
Can’t wait until the 30th to try some good brews? Don’t forget that July is officially Good Beer month in New York City! Check out the full list of happenings, as well as our editors’ beer recommendations, here.
