Heimat New York’s Blackberry Liqueur
Who to Gift This to: The woman who’s obsessed with what’s in season.
View this post on Instagram
German for “homeland,” Heimat was started by Germany native Ute Londrigan. Ute was inspired by her grandmother, who used to utilize the fruit growing in her backyard as the basis for her fruit liqueurs. Heimat sources their fruits locally to make vibrant, complex specialty liqueurs. There are a bunch of flavors available, but we recommend starting with blackberry because it’s the liqueur that initially inspired the brand. But elderflower and rhubarb also make for fantastic seasonal gifts for that special woman in your life.
The Parcel Flower Co.’s Mother’s Day Vase Arrangement
Who to Gift This to: The women in your life who deserve to be celebrated.

If nothing else, make sure the women you love get flowers this Mother’s Day. And what better flowers than ones that are locally sourced? The Parcel Flower Co. grows their own flowers on plots of land throughout Cold Spring, so you can be sure that they are responsibly and thoughtfully grown. This special Mother’s Day arrangement ranges in size from Standard to Mega, and the flowers change seasonally, of course, so the bouquets will vary.

Hudson Valley CSA Coalition
Who to Gift This to: The woman who only shops at the farmers market.

A CSA, or community-supported agriculture, is truly the gift that keeps on giving. While it is slightly pricy, you’re investing in many months’ worth of farm-fresh produce, flowers, meats, dairy and more. Head to Hudson Valley CSA Coalition’s website and enter in the zip code of the woman you’re buying for to locate the farms nearest to her. Read up on each of the farms and decide which farm fits her needs best, then follow the instructions to sign up! It will vary by farm, but many sign-ups will get 20 or more weeks’ worth of agricultural goodies!
