During Edible Institute, our Future of Food Service panel gave some shocking statistics that brought food waste to the forefront of the conversation. According to Cropmobster CEO Nick Papadopolous, one-third of the world’s food is not eaten, and this waste exacerbates food insecurity and climate change and contributes to resource depletion.
As conscious eaters, it is important that we become more deliberate about our leftover food. We want to hear from you: What do you do with leftover food scraps? Do you repurpose them into something delicious? Compost them under your sink? Make your own natural dye?
