We wrote about Food + Tech Ed, a program that offers online classes for food entrepreneurs. If an online class is too much of a commitment, Local Food Lab is now offering Food Startup Bootcamp: a one-day intensive business course.
Started in Silicon Valley, Local Food Lab offers a “mini-MBA” program for food startup hopefuls and operates on an international scale. The bootcamp is a condensed version of their month-long accelerator program and is traveling around major cities this year. You can sign up for the $395 NYC class on November 8 and expect to walk away with a business plan and an investor pitch outline. Even if a one-day bootcamp may not quite compare to a two-year MBA program, participating in the camp will also give you access to a community of over 2500 members working on a similar set of issues.
