While you probably have your spot staked out and your cooler stocked with your fave sudsy treats for tonight’s firework festivities, this weekend head north on a pilgrimage of the liquidy sort to brew-happy Central New York.
Last night, beer lovers came together for the Third Annual Good Beer event at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, where a slew of brews (including an amazing batch of salty-sour homemade from the boys at Bierkraft) were paired with pretzels and pletzels and pizza, with shrimp rolls and chopped liver and duck blinis and banh mi.
“Jesus, look at those melons.” (Muskmelons, that is.) It’s not an uncommon refrain this time…
