They say that New York is the city that has everything, and as proud city-dwellers, we like to believe that’s mostly true. Of course, there are some things New York doesn’t have (stars, for example, or trees, or vast shady lawns on which to run around barefoot), and sometimes we have to leave the city to remember how much we love it — especially in the summertime, when the heat’s enough to test the devotion of even the most stalwart of New Yorkers.
Where do you go to escape the city? Whether your weekend adventures take you to the Catskills, Long Island or beyond, we want to hear about it — and about how and where you eat when you go. What do you do? Do you have a garden there? What do you cook with the good ingredients there? And what can you get there better than you can get here in New York City?
