We are big fans of the New-York Historical Society’s summer exhibition series, which is called Beer Here: Brewing New York’s History. In addition to examining, and we quote: “the social, economic, political, and technological history of the production and consumption of beer, ale, and porter in the city from the seventeenth century to the present day,” they’re also hosting a few Saturday afternoon tastings over the coming months. Those 30 minute samplings will showcase the delicious present, aka our thriving state brewing scene.
