Want to eat for a good cause? On Monday, March 13, Taste of Greenwich House will bring together restaurants from the West Village to Metropolitan Pavilion support their mission: to provide services that include the treatment of victims of child abuse, medical care for home-bound seniors, after-school arts programs for urban youth, senior wellness classes and counseling for adults struggling with drug and alcohol addiction.
Twenty-five restaurants in total, from Little Owl to The Clam to Left Bank—see more on their map—will be donating their food and time, with all proceeds going to the organization, which is seeking to build funding in a political climate where budgets for the arts and social services are at risk.
After 14 years of throwing this soiree, they’re also introducing a new element this time: wine. Lieb Cellars, the sustainable vineyard on the North Fork of Long Island, will be providing the drinks. Purchase your tickets, which range in price from $150 to $350, here.
