Last week we kicked off the summer season with a taste of Long Island in the heart of downtown Brooklyn at Brooklyn Uncorked. Wine sippers and food noshers descended on the spectacular Skylight One Hanson (aka the former Williamsburg Savings Bank), where we raised our glass (many times) to celebrate 40 years of Long Island wine making.

Last week local cheesemongers, milk purveyors, ice cream makers and butter churners took over the giant white space–fitting for a dairy-filled evening–at The Openhouse Gallery in Soho. From the sweet to the savory, the endless samples reminded us why we love all things dairy.
In case the word hasn’t yet reached you, the folks here at Edible have been busy lately. We’ve been drumming up food trucks, local wines and dairy galore for these awesome upcoming events we’re sure you’ll enjoy.
Food trucks are synonymous with on-the-go eating, but wouldn’t it be even better if you could sit and savor your meal for a while? At our Drive-In Dinner on April 18th you can do just that at the Brooklyn Brewery in Williamsburg from 6pm to 9pm.
