Kids in the Garden

The New York Botanical Garden is celebrating 60 years of its Children’s Gardening Program. To sign up your kid for this esteemed program, register here. Scholarships are available.

Barber and Basque

Some big news from the Basque Culinary Center—they are launching a Culinary World Prize to recognize chefs who are improving the world through their innovation. The judges are impressive: Dan Barber, Heston Blumenthal, Renee Redzepi and more. Nominate chefs here.

The NYC Greenmarkets have launched a program to encourage shopping at their year-round farmers markets, where you can earn rewards for visiting often during the cold months. Inquire with your local market manager for details.
