Randall’s Island Cooking on the Farm Workshop

Sandwiched between East Harlem and Astoria, Randall’s Island constitutes a 330-acre sprawl with nine miles of waterfront pathways and many grassy fields. It’s also home to a dynamic Urban Farm with free, interactive classes introducing visitors to all the farm’s amenities. This time, you’ll be learning from an experienced chef. After learning about the cultural significance of the recipe and harvesting fresh ingredients from the farm, participants will work together to chop, crush, and stir them into a finished dish.
